Configure sweepstakes prizes, dates, eligibility, and entry limits
Set the core rules that determine when a sweepstakes runs, who may enter, and what they may win.
Configure the operational settings before writing the official rules so the public copy and Revup behavior stay aligned.
Promotion period
In Setup, choose the start date, end date, and timezone. The timezone controls when the promotion opens and closes, so use the timezone named in your official rules. Verify daylight-saving changes for long campaigns.
Prizes
Add every prize that may be awarded. For each prize, use a public-facing name and confirm the quantity, approximate retail value, and winner count. Do not combine separate prizes into one record if they need different drawings, alternates, claim terms, or fulfillment tracking.
Eligibility
Set the allowed countries, regions, states, minimum age, and any other entry restrictions supported by the builder. Restrictions in the interface should also appear in the official rules and promotional messaging.
Geographic controls reduce ineligible submissions but do not replace eligibility review. Confirm a selected winner still meets all requirements before fulfillment.
Entry limits
Choose how often a person may submit the base entry and how Revup should treat repeat attempts. Separately review each bonus actionβs frequency and entry value. A daily action and a one-time action behave differently even when they award the same number of entries.
Final review
Before launch, compare these items side by side:
- Builder dates and rules dates
- Builder timezone and rules timezone
- Prize names, quantities, values, and winner counts
- Eligibility settings and eligibility language
- Base entry and bonus entry limits
- Drawing, alternate, notification, and claim timing
Changes made after launch may affect participant expectations. If a material correction is required, record what changed and determine whether the rules or participant notice must also be updated.
