Configure product rules, order bonuses, and coupon bonuses

Configure product eligibility, bonus periods, order bonuses, and coupon bonuses.

Select the products that qualify

In a Purchase Sweepstakes, open Settings and the Shopify product panel. Refresh the catalog when products or variants have changed. Review which products are enabled and their product-specific entry settings. An excluded product does not contribute qualifying spend.

Product rules can change a product's entry multiplier or add a fixed entry bonus per eligible unit. A multiplier affects the product's qualifying spend contribution; a fixed bonus adds chances separately. These are not the same as the account's profile limit, a customer's total purchase history, or a participant referral reward.

The builder does not provide a general collection/customer condition-and-priority rule engine. Use the actual product controls and the order/coupon settings below.

Combine the entry settings

Under Entries, configure:

  • Base Entries: the normal entries-per-spend rate.
  • Bonus Periods: an alternate entries-per-spend rate for a defined period.
  • Order Bonuses: Entries awarded when qualifying spend reaches Minimum order total, subject to Frequency, Start Date, and End Date.
  • Coupon Bonuses: Entries awarded for the configured Coupon code, subject to its frequency and date window.

Frequency limits cap the bonus's uses per person; they do not limit all entries from that person's purchases. Review the displayed time zone and currency. Overlapping schedules can be rejected; resolve the conflict instead of assuming one row takes priority.

Revup calculates spend-based entries from the combined eligible spend and rounds down once at the order level. Product fixed bonuses, applicable order bonuses, and coupon bonuses contribute separately. Shipping, taxes, and duties do not earn spend-based entries. Refunds or cancellations can reduce or remove an award.

Check the result before launch

Use staging orders with an enabled product, an excluded product, multiple quantities, a qualifying coupon, a threshold boundary, and a refund. Compare order details with the participant's entries. A promotion-wide recalculation can apply current rules to eligible historical orders; review that operation before using it to correct a live campaign.

Explain qualifying products, dates, spending thresholds, coupon conditions, frequency limits, and refund treatment in the public rules and storefront copy.
