Award bonus entries for a form field

Configure the award

Use Bonus Entries on a supported form field to reward participants who provide that response.

1. Open the promotion builder and select Form.
2. Open the field that should award entries.
3. Select Advanced.
4. Turn on Bonus Entries.
5. Enter the number under Entries to Award.
6. Choose whether to turn on Show Bonus Entries Badge.
7. Preview and complete a test submission.

When Show Bonus Entries Badge is on, participants can see the additional-entry amount beside the field. Turning the badge off hides that message but does not disable the award.

How entries are awarded

Revup awards the configured amount when the submitted field contains a value. An optional field that the participant leaves blank does not award entries. The award is for completing the field; it does not increase based on the length of the response or the number of choices selected.

Field-based bonus entries are recorded with the participant's submission and included in their entry total. Changing the setting later does not recalculate submissions that were already received.

Before publishing

• Make the value meaningful enough to motivate the response without overwhelming the promotion's entry structure.
• Decide whether participants should see the bonus-entry badge before they answer.
• Complete test submissions with the field filled in and left blank, then verify both entry totals.
• Describe material ways to earn entries in your official rules when the promotion requires rules.
