Collect signatures on a form

Add a signature pad, customize its instructions, and review submitted signatures.

Add a Signature field

Use Signature when a participant needs to sign an acknowledgement, release, application, or other statement as part of the form.

  1. Open the promotion builder and select Form.
  2. Under Form Fields, add Signature.
  3. Write a label that states what the participant is signing.
  4. Add help text when the surrounding form does not contain the complete explanation.
  5. Decide whether the signature is required and customize the validation error.
  6. Use Field ID when you need to identify the field in connected systems.

The participant draws a signature in the signature pad. They can clear the pad and draw it again before submitting.

Write clear signature language

Place the agreement, acknowledgement, or release immediately before the Signature field. Do not use a vague label such as β€œSign here” without explaining what the signature applies to.

A drawn electronic signature is not automatically suitable for every legal purpose. Confirm the required language, signing method, participant identity checks, and recordkeeping with qualified guidance.

Review signatures

Submitted signatures appear as images in the participant's profile or submission details. Signature images are not included as ordinary columns in participant CSV exports.

Before publishing, submit a test signature, clear and redraw it, trigger the required-field error, and confirm authorized team members can review the result.
