Add and configure form fields

Add contact, choice, rating, upload, payment, consent, and layout fields to a Revup form or promotion.

Form fields determine what participants see and what Revup stores.

  1. Open the builder and select Pre-entry β†’ Form Fields.

  2. Choose Add field and select a field type.

  3. Write the label, help text, placeholder, and choices.

  4. Choose whether the field is required.

  5. Configure validation, width, entry value, mapping, or product-specific settings when available.

  6. Drag fields into the intended order and save.

Revup supports contact fields, text and choice fields, checkboxes, dates, ratings, opinion scales, rankings, file uploads, signatures, payments, rules acceptance, CAPTCHA, and layout elements such as headings, paragraphs, media, dividers, banners, and page breaks.

Good field design

  • Ask only for information you will use.

  • Use one clear question per field.

  • Explain format requirements before submission.

  • Make consent specific and separate from unrelated terms.

  • Use required fields sparingly.

  • Preview narrow mobile layouts after changing field width.

Email is the primary identity field for many Revup experiences. Removing or changing primary contact fields can affect duplicate detection, integrations, resume behavior, and follow-up.

After changing fields on a live form, test a new submission and verify exports and integration mappings. Existing submissions keep the data collected at their original time.
