Audience and unified customer profiles overview

Learn how Revup combines promotion, form, purchase, referral, message, and media activity into customer profiles.

Audience gives your team a customer-centered view of Revup activity.

Instead of reviewing the same person separately in every promotion, a unified profile brings their known activity together.

How profiles are created

Profiles can be created or updated from form and promotion submissions, participant imports, Shopify orders and customers, the Revup API, referrals, flows, and authorized manual actions.

Revup uses available identifiers such as email and phone to associate activity. If information is incomplete or inconsistent, duplicate profiles can exist and may need review.

What a profile can include

  • Contact information and custom field values
  • Promotions and forms the person participated in
  • Entry totals and bonus-entry history
  • Shopify purchase activity connected to Revup
  • Referral activity
  • Email and SMS message history
  • Uploaded contest or form media
  • Integration delivery activity
  • A timeline of important actions and changes

The exact information depends on what your account collected and which products or integrations were used.

Common tasks

Use Audience to search and filter profiles, open a personโ€™s history, export the selected profile data, and review possible duplicates. When two profiles represent the same person, authorized users can merge them. When they represent different people, mark them to be kept separate.

Permissions and plan limits

Audience visibility and edit actions depend on the userโ€™s account permissions. Profile capacity also depends on the account plan. Revup may continue storing new contacts while the customer-facing profile list limits which profiles are accessible under the current entitlement.

Important limitation

The launch documentation should focus on the working contact list, profile, export, activity, and merge experiences. Dedicated Audience Lists, Fields, and Analytics pages are not ready to be documented as complete products.
