Purchase Sweepstakes placements can explain earning rules before purchase and show earned totals after an order.

1. Open Install in the Purchase Sweepstakes builder.
2. Confirm the connected store and active promotion.
3. Enable the storefront app embed or theme blocks required by the selected placement.
4. Configure product badges and cart entry totals where available.
5. Add supported checkout, thank-you, order-status, or customer-account extensions.
6. Publish the Shopify theme or checkout configuration.

Checkout extensions require Shopify Plus. Other placements depend on the theme and Shopify surface.

Test product, collection, cart, accelerated checkout, standard checkout, thank-you, order-status, and customer-account paths that your store uses. Confirm the promotion lifecycle hides placements before the start and after the end.

If publication fails, use the supported recovery action after confirming permissions. Recovery restarts the existing installation work; it should not be treated as a new promotion generation.
