What you seeWhat it means
ParticipantsSubmitted participant records counted in reporting. This is not the number of chances those participants have to win.
Page ViewsMeasured promotion visits, with duplicate visits filtered. This is not a guaranteed count of unique people.
Conversion RateParticipants divided by Page Views for the selected period, expressed as a percentage.
Social ActionsRecorded action completions. A completion is not independent confirmation from a social platform that someone followed an account.
ReferralsParticipant entries attributed to referral links. This is separate from the number of bonus entries awarded.

For example, if one participant receives 10 chances to win, that does not add 10 participants to the report. Use the participant’s details to inspect their entry total.

See where participation comes from

Use the traffic, landing-page, campaign, technology, and geographic breakdowns to compare how people reach and use your promotion. Available rows have controls for a daily breakdown or CSV export. Unknown locations or devices can occur when the visit does not provide enough information.

Compare equivalent measures: a source with many visits can still produce fewer participants than a smaller source with a higher conversion rate.

Understand abandoned submissions

Abandoned Submissions describes people who started interacting with the form but did not submit it at that time. The section distinguishes Contactable attempts with an email or phone number, anonymous attempts, and recovered submissions.

The abandoned list in Participants contains contactable records, so it can be smaller than the reporting total. A recovered submission can appear in abandonment history and also become a participant. This section is hidden while a promotion is pending.

Export and investigate results

Open Download reporting data and select Download Report for the daily report. For step-by-step export guidance, see Export promotion reporting data.

Reporting exports summarize activity; Participants → Export downloads participant records. Their row counts do not need to match. Check the same date range and promotion time zone before comparing them.

Recent activity can take time to appear. Invalidating, deleting, or restoring participants can change eligible totals. The reporting overview explains test activity and other reasons totals change.
