Add languages and review translations
Add a translated version and understand which settings remain shared.
Add a language from Settings
The language selected when a promotion is created is its default language. Open Settings β Language & Translation to see Currently Editing and manage other versions.
- In the default-language builder, use Add Language & Auto-Translate and select Select Language To Add.
- Wait for translation processing to finish.
- Open the added language from Languages.
- Review and edit the translated text, including validation errors, action instructions, prize descriptions, rules, buttons, and result messages.
- Review the public language selector and the language-specific placement.
Know which changes belong to the original promotion
Language versions share the promotion's structure. They expose only supported translation controls and fewer tabs. To add fields, change prize quantities, or change other structural settings, return to the default language. Purchase Sweepstakes and claim-form builders have their own supported translation surfaces.
Right to Left (RTL) in Design controls reading direction; it is separate from translation. Check alignment, phone inputs, dates, and longer translated labels in the actual layout.
Review translations before launch
Automatic translation is a draft. Have a fluent reviewer check meaning, especially for consent, eligibility, prizes, payment, and claims. Review all changed strings after editing the default language; do not assume a previously reviewed translation still expresses the new terms.
Test navigation and form validation in every published language. Verify that links and media remain appropriate for the audience and that the selected language reaches the intended public placement.
